Louzantrail, in the Salomon Golden Trail Series with communication by Cream Agency
Louzantrail 2019: the countdown to 26 and 27 January has begun.
Hearts are beating faster, and for a good reason. This is the first time that a Portuguese trail has been included in the renowned global circuit “Golden Trail National Series 2019” and, after eight editions in the mild June Summer, Louzantrail will make its debut at the height of the Portuguese winter. For safety reasons, the most technical sections of the trail have been reassessed and adapted to the weather conditions that athletes will face in the first month of the year.
The inclusion of Louzantrail no “Golden Trail National Series 2019” brings 50 elite athletes to the trails of Lousã. Confirmed participants include Olívia Sousa, who represented the national trail running team in 2016, Latvian Andris Ronimoiss, winner of the Madeira Island Ultra Trail (MIUT), Luís Duarte, who took first place in the 2018 Ultra-Trail Serra Da Freita, André Rodrigues, winner of the Trilhos Dos Abutres 2018, and Tiago Pires, known as the ‘Papa Trilhos’. Athletes Romeu Gouveia, Ester Alves and Tiago Romão are the guests of Louzantrail 2019.
The Ultra Louzantrail races, covering 43 km and 3240D+ – associated with the Ultra Trail Circuit (Series 150) of the Portuguese Trail Running Association (ATRP) – Louzantrail Long, 29 km and 2330D+, and Louzantrail Short, 18 km and 1260D+, and Walk – 10 km 500d+. All self-sufficient, each with its own heart rate.
We are prepared to make Louzantrail 2019 a legendary memory in the history of Portuguese trail running.
