Berg outdoor: main sponsor of the Trail World Championships 2019
Organised by Trilhos dos Abutres, the 2019 Trail Running World Championships, taking place in Portugal on the 8th of June, is supported by Berg as its main sponsor.
Between the 7th and 9th of June 2019, the world trail running championship will take place on Portuguese soil. The national teams and top athletes in mountain athletics will cross the finish line of the 2019 Trail World Championships in Miranda do Corvo, in the region of Coimbra. A choice that is no coincidence. After all, this is where the Trilhos dos Abutres are located, a circuit known for its tough trails and breathtaking landscapes in the Serra da Lousã. The Abutrica Association will co-organise this global event, in collaboration with the Portuguese Athletics Federation and the Portuguese Trail Running Association, the International Association of Ultra Runners and the International Trail Running Association.
Berg Outdoor is partnering with the event as the main sponsor of the Trail Running World Championships, the world’s leading mountain ultramarathon event, which brings teams from over 55 countries to Portugal and will mobilise more than 500 athletes.
